Adventurers are welcome to visit us Saturday at 2067 Wilson Highway, Independence. Extra parking is available at Rixey’s U-storage next door.
Osborne’s Farm and Nursery is a multi-seasonal greenhouse and farm that operates on the Spring-Fall calendar and also has a variety of fall décor including pumpkins, gourds, straw, and mums. Kids Ag activities and photo booth available. Be sure to leave room in the trunk to bring home your pumpkins!
This year Karen and her family will be host to two of Grayson’s most esteemed creators–Joyce and Richard Rouse.
Joyce Rouse is a multi-faceted singer-songwriter with over a dozen studio-recorded albums under the name Earth Mama Music. Check out her music on Youtube or stop by the tent at the Nursery to hear it in person!
Richard Rouse is a published fiction writer, with such titles as “The Fairy Ring” and “The Welcome Home Door and Other Stories” evoking a rich Appalachian tapestry. Pick up a signed copy of these Appalachian tales to take home with you on your Ag & Art Adventure.
