My husband and I bought our vacation home here in Grayson in 2002. We realized how much we missed Grayson when we were home in Bumpass, VA. We started spending more and more time here and now we are almost full-time residents.
I had taken many classes at Chestnut Creek School of the Arts, but had not discovered glass until 2021 or so. I am not sure why it took me so long, but Chestnut Creek School of the Arts is responsible for my addiction to glass. Prior to taking an Art4life fused glass class, I had no experience at all with glass. I think it all started with Ron and Linda Davis’s ornament workshop. After 1 day I was hooked and signed up for any and all of their fused glass classes. Then Ron Davis introduced me to mixed media through the woodworking shop. Now I have another dimension to my addiction-wood and glass!
