Cabin fever gettin’ to ya? Brave the wintry weather and plan to join us at the Blue Ridge Discovery Center on Saturday, February 21, for a full day of seasonal activities and family fun! We’ll kick off with a keynote on “Human-Wildlife Conflict” by VDWR District Biologist Kathleen Black. Afterwards, we’ll cycle through three different program sessions led by expert guides. Program topics include waterfowl, geology, winter tree identification, camera trapping, vernal pools, and make your own cordage and pottery! You’ll be surprised at the wealth of biodiversity in the Blue Ridge Mountains this time of year. Come join us at the base of Whitetop Mountain and immerse yourself in a winter wonderland this February. Tickets start at $22.50 for members, and youth under 12 are free!
