About

Take a journey to explore the nocturnal world of Grayson Highlands State Park and don’t miss a chance to see the last full moon of the winter season, the Worm Moon. This full moon is named for when the ground begins to thaw from the winter freeze, and the sap flows again in the trees and signals that spring is on its way. This ranger-led hike will be moderate and headlamps with filters are encouraged. Proper hiking footwear will be needed and remember to bring water and warm clothes.
