Celebrate the Holidays in Grayson County, VA! We have a full day of holiday merry-making planned for everyone to enjoy.
The Independence Farmers Market will host their second Winter Market at Independence Town Park from 11 AM to 2 PM.
The Grayson County Free Market will host their annual Christmas Gift Shop at the GATE Center. Beginning at 11 AM, kids ages 5-14 ONLY will be allowed to choose gifts for three family members, escorted by helpful ‘elves’. From 1 PM to 3 PM, everyone is welcome inside the Christmas Gift Shop to choose gifts for free.
From 4 PM to 7 PM, Making Grayson Glow will host their annual Christmas Market at the Historic 1908 Courthouse, with local craft vendors, food, and holiday music.
Join us for the Town of Independence Christmas Parade at 6 PM. Line up will be at Independence Elementary School and travel West to the 1908 Courthouse. After the parade the Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin along with Christmas Caroling presented by Making Grayson Glow.
Kids can have a photo opportunity with Santa after the parade.
