The annual Cookie and Candy Swap for December has evolved into a full-blown BAKE SALE. Any individual, church group, club organization, etc. can come set up at the GATE CENTER; 122 Davis Street, Independence, VA, and sell their baked goods. These items DO NOT have to be made in the kitchen. You can make them in your home and set up a table in the conference room and sell your delicious Christmas goodies to those folks who want the LAST-MINUTE item for a party or for their Christmas dinner the following week. Your specialty fudge that grandma taught you how to make that melts in your mouth can be a future delicacy that is shared with someone during the holidays. Besides, you can make a little extra for the holidays, and who doesn’t like to do that?

There is NO CHARGE for setup. Tables are provided while they last. We ask that you donate 10% of your sales to the 4-H for students who cannot afford to go to camp. This is your choice only.
