About

In coordination with the Compress & Shock foundation, The Historic Goodwill Grange #959 will be hosting a FREE bystander hands only CPR/AED instruction course.  This course is designed to teach non-medically trained citizens how to perform CPR and use an AED in situations involving cardiac arrest.

The event is scheduled as part of The Compress & Shock Foundation’s “Annual CPR and AED Education Day”, which is held the first Saturday of every June.  The Grange needs 35 people to register online at https://www.compressandshock.org/virginia (look for “The Historic Goodwill Grange #959 training site).

There is no cost, but donations are welcome to help fund training and AED’s for other underfunded communities.  If 35 people register and attend, the Grange will receive a FREE AED to put in their building for the Troutdale Community.

The class will be held at 840 Grange Hall Rd Troutdale, VA from 10:00am-11:00am on June 1, 2024.   James Parks, is the site organizer from the Grange and his email is [email protected] and I have been helping coordinate and plan with the Compress & Shock Foundation.
