Virginia Route 94 begins in Grayson County and stretches nearly 30 miles to Wytheville, Virginia. Much of the route is known as Ivanhoe Road. A beautiful section of the road parallels the New River outside of Fries. Take this leisurely route to enjoy the beautiful scenery, remote landscapes, and wildlife sightings. Pass by Cripple Creek in Wythe County, and enjoy small towns like Fries and  Independence along the way. Short detours will take you to larger towns like Wytheville and Galax. Get off the beaten path!
