The Crooked Road is a 300 mile route passing through 19 counties, 4 cities, and 54 towns in Southwest Virginia. It begins in Rocky Mount and ends at Breaks Interstate Park on the Virginia and Kentucky border. Along the route you will experience first hand how music is woven into the tapestry of tradition in Southwest Virginia. In Grayson County there is one major venue from the Crooked Road that we share with neighboring Carroll County — The Blue Ridge Music Center. In addition Grayson County hosts 5 affiliated venues and 4 wayside exhibits. June is an especially good time to travel The Crooked Road during the Mountains of Music Homecoming — a 9 day region wide celebration of all the communities in Southwest Virginia.
