The Independence Farmers Market (IFM) began in 2008. A local grower/producer market, the Independence Farmer’s Market is open seasonally on Fridays 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Fresh Market features local, naturally- raised meats, heirloom vegetables, baked goods, herbs, arts and crafts. The Vendors also give recipes or helpful food preparation tips to interested customers. IFM offers special events throughout the market season, featuring Kids Day, the Berry Festival, Tomato Day, Apple Festival, contests, raffles and local musicians. The online market is open all year and winter educational workshops are also held. Please visit IFM at the crossroads of Hwy 58 and 21 in historic Independence. You will be glad you did!
